Hand-Chopped Salsa

When you buy ingredients to make salsa and you realize your friend doesn’t have a blender or food processor you improvise. If you like chunky salsa this is for you.

  • 8 Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1-2 avocados, diced
  • 2 jalapeños, seeds removed and chopped
  • Handful of cilantro, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • Juice from 1 large lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips


In a large bowl combine tomatoes, avocados, jalapeños (I throw a few seeds in for spice), cilantro, garlic, and red onion. Add lime juice and salt. Stir it up and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
